Angela Horiuchi-Yvkoff and Karen Vardeny started Tummy Talk™ after the search for the perfect pregnancy journal fell flat. Realizing that we would have to purchase multiple books to piece together all the elements moms-to-be want most, we decided to create one special journal that had it all. The Tummy Talk pregnancy book provides moms-to-be and new families with a specially designed journal to chronicle all their feelings and intimate thoughts throughout the pregnancy and birthing process, while also providing space to keep special memorabilia and photos—all the things your baby (and you) will enjoy looking back on with each passing year.

When it comes to business, Tummy Talk is our second “baby.” We’ve already been schooled in entrepreneurship from another corporate child, The Fusion Factory: a corporate event planning and management company. After several years of wonderful successes, we now enjoy the ability to work from home, do something we love and call each other best friends.

Angela, an “auntie” many times over, brings years of experience in marketing, production and event planning to Tummy Talk. With scores of baby showers, 1st birthdays and endless baby conversations under her belt, she knows more about morning sickness and sippy cups than some dads. As an avid scrapbooker and doting wife, Angela enjoys being a “mom” to her two Malteses, Kozmo and Gizmo.
